We’re excited to see everyone in the studio for auditions. Dancers will begin with a one-hour technique class focused on fundamentals and alignment, then perform a previously learned combo with their age group.
The combo will be posted to Instagram about one week before auditions so dancers have time to prepare and feel confident. If your dancer is new, please know they are absolutely welcome here.
What to expect
- Technique first: dancers warm up with a class focused on strength, alignment, and clean fundamentals.
- Combo prep ahead of time: families have about a week to practice before audition day.
- New dancers are encouraged: we want to see potential, personality, work ethic, and coachability.

Auditions can feel big, but your dancer does not need to be perfect to belong here. Showing up prepared, ready to learn, and willing to perform with confidence goes a long way.
Groups & Times
Find your dancer’s audition group
Register for the recommended age group or the audition group tied to your dancer’s current Danceology team. If staff needs to place a dancer differently, we can help with that behind the scenes.

How to prepare
Help your dancer walk in feeling ready
- Bring water and arrive a little early so your dancer can settle in and feel ready.
- Wear clean, audition-ready dancewear that allows movement and follows studio guidelines.
- Review the combo during the week before auditions once it is posted to Instagram.
- Come with a positive mindset — we care about effort, teachability, and performance quality.

Dress code reminder: leotards are required, and we do not allow bare midriff for auditions.
If this is your dancer’s first audition, please don’t worry about having everything perfect. We’re excited to meet new dancers, and we want this to feel encouraging as well as challenging.

Once you register, you’ll be able to review and edit your saved details before paying. We’ll also send confirmation emails so your family has the current schedule, registration status, and payment link in one place.
Core-team interest is optional and simply helps us understand whether your dancer wants to be considered for that more competitive, higher-intensity training path.
